Girl group Katseye rocked the Coachella stage with a surprise appearance of "Golden" (2025) singers Rei Ami, EJAE and Audrey Nuna for a special performance.

Katseye went on the Sahara Stage of the Coachella Valley Music and Arts Festival on Saturday, at the Empire Polo Club in Indio, California. The members performed for 45 minutes on stage, singing 11 songs in total, including the group's hit songs “Gnarly” (2025) and “Gameboy” (2025).

The highlight of the performance arrived when the three singers behind Zoey, Rumi and Mira from the hit Netflix animation "Kpop Demon Hunters" (2025) joined the stage for a joint performance on “Golden.” The song was also specially arranged for the Coachella performance to have a slower tempo than the original version.

"Golden" has been a massive hit, alongside the popularity of the animation since its release in June last year, landing and staying on the Billboard Hot 100 chart for multiple weeks.

“Pinky Up,” Katseye’s single released on Thursday, climbed the Spotify charts after the stage. The song landed No. 10 on Spotify’s Daily Top Song USA chart and 18th on the Daily Top Song Global chart for Friday, according to the girl group’s agency HYBE and Geffen Records on Sunday.

The song first entered the chart at 37th and 83rd, respectively, upon its release.

The Coachella festival kicked off Friday, with performances this weekend and on Friday, Saturday and Sunday of the coming week. Sabrina Carpenter, Justin Bieber and Karol G are headlining the festival, while boy band SHINee’s Taemin and boy band Big Bang are featured in the lineup.

Previously, Korean artists like Epik High, Ateez and Le Sserafim have performed at the festival, with Blackpink being the first K-pop headliner in 2023.

Katseye was formed through HYBE's global audition project “The Debut: Dream Academy” (2023) and made its U.S. debut in June 2024. It gained attention from global music fans soon after entering the U.S. Billboard Hot 100 main songs chart with “Gnarly” and “Gabriela” last year.

The group consists of six members — Lara, Sophia, Daniela, Manon, Yoonchae and Megan. Manon, currently on hiatus, did not participate in the group's Coachella performance.
