Korean reality show 'Jinny's Kitchen' to air first episode on Feb. 24
“Jinny’s Kitchen,” starring actor Lee Seo-jin and V from boy band BTS, will be available on cable network tvN and streaming platforms from Tving and Prime Video on Feb. 24, the cable network said Friday.
It will be the first Korean reality show to be available on Amazon's streaming platform, it added.
“Jinny’s Kitchen” is a spinoff series from the channel’s hit show “Youn’s Kitchen” (2017-18). The new cooking-travel reality show will revolve around the operation of a Korean restaurant serving bunsik, or Korean street food, in Bacalar, Mexico.
The show has garnered much anticipation from fans around the world after the castings were released, in which actor Jung Yumi, Choi Woo-shik, Park Seo Jun and V from the boy band BTS will appear on the show, with V being the so-called intern at the restaurant.
“Jinny’s Kitchen” will be available in Korea, the United States, the United Kingdom, Canada, Australia, Taiwan, Hong Kong, Singapore, Malaysia, the Philippines, Indonesia and Vietnam. The show will be available in more countries this spring.
