The Screen Actors Guild (SAG) honored the late Korean actor Lee Sun-kyun during its award ceremony on Sunday.

A video commemorating late actors was played at the 30th Annual Screen Actors Guild Awards at the Shrine Auditorium & Expo Hall in Los Angeles. The video included the late "Parasite" (2019) actor Lee, who died by suicide last December, as well as "Friends" actor Matthew Perry and Harry Belafonte.

"To those of us who worked with them, alongside them, we feel their loss and absence deeply," actor Naomi Watts said as she introduced the "In Memoriam Tribute" during the event.

"Their memory will live on our recollections and the precious time that we shared together. And through their work, their performances captured in countless frames of images, ever ready to dance across the screen and come to life again, if only for a while."

Lee had been honored with the Outstanding Performance by a Cast in a Motion Picture award in 2020 for his performance in Bong Joon-ho's "Parasite."

This year's Outstanding Performance by a Cast in a Motion Picture went to "Oppenheimer" (2022), and its lead actor, Cillian Murphy, took home the Outstanding Performance by a Male Actor in Leading Role for his portrayal of the historical scientist.

Korean American actor Steven Yeun won the Outstanding Performance by a Male Actor in a Television Movie or Limited Series award for his role in Netflix original series "Beef" (2023), along with Ali Wong, who won the Outstanding Performance by a Female Actor in a Television Movie or Limited Series award for the same work.
