Loona member Haseul joins Modhaus's Artms
Haseul, from girl group Loona, signed an exclusive contract with Modhaus, announced her new agency on Thursday.
She will join the agency’s new project Artms, which consisted of four other former members of Loona — Heejin, Kim Lip, Jinsoul and Choerry.
“We thank Haseul who trusted and chose Modhaus [as her new agency]. We will do our utmost in supporting Haseul so that her charms can shine even more, and for her to see the fans in a variety of ways,” the agency said in a press release.
Project Artms is currently active through videos on YouTube, and its subunit Odd Eye Circle, consisting of Kim Lip, Jinsoul and Choerry, is preparing to release their new album this year, followed by concerts in Europe.
Haseul, whose real name is Cho Ha-seul, debuted in 2016 through her single “HaSeul.” She made her official debut in 2018 through girl group Loona with its first EP “+ +.” All 12 members of Loona took their exclusive contracts with agency Blockberry Creative to court, claiming that its contract clauses were unfair to the members.
The group's lead vocalist Chuu had her exclusive contract with the agency partially suspended back in March 2022, followed by Heejin, Kim Lip, Jinsoul and Choerry, who had their contracts suspended in January.
Haseul, Yeojin, Yves, Olivia Hye and Gowon were the remaining five members who had their injunctions upheld on June 16. The other four members have yet to sign with another agency.
