Loossemble to launch on Sept. 15
Girl group Loossemble will make its official debut on Sept. 15, its agency CTDENM said Monday.
Loossemble, which stands for Loona Assemble, consists of five former members of girl group Loona — Hyunjin, Yeojin, Vivi, Gowon and Hyeju. The group name refers to the five members coming together as one.
Sept. 15 is also the day the girl group kicks off its “Debut Ceremony” tour across 10 cities around the United States, where the group announced in early August that they plan to perform in New York, Washington, Atlanta, Chicago, Los Angeles and more.
“The girl group will kick off its activities in the United States, then return to Korea to continue its official activities,” the agency said Monday, adding that there will be a “finale” in Korea following the tour in the U.S.
CTDENM was founded by Eric Yun, a former executive at BlockBerry Creative, Loona's former agency. All 12 members of the group, starting with Chuu in 2022, had their exclusive contracts with BlockBerry Creative suspended, citing unfair contract terms.
