'Mamamoo: My Con The Movie' to hit theaters this month
Girl group Mamamoo's solo concert will be played on the big screen all around the world.
Opening in multiplex chain CGV starting June 21, "Mamamoo: My Con The Movie" will be a film adaptation of the girl group's first world tour, "My Con," which kicked off last November.
The film will contain both scenes from the concert and stories of the four members shared behind the scene, according to the girl group's agency RBW on Monday.
"Mamamoo: My Con The Movie" will be available only through CGV in Korea, and the tickets will go on sale this Friday.
The film will also be premiered around the world in the future, according to RBW.
The quartet — Moon Byul, Solar, Whee In and Hwa Sa — debuted in 2014 and is known for each member's musical talents. They are known for their hits "Mr. Ambiguous" (2014), "Um Oh Ah Yeh" (2015), "Decalcomanie" (2016), "Yes I am" (2017) and "gogobebe" (2019).
The girl group recently completed its first world tour, "My Con," with performances in Korea, Japan, Singapore, the United States and more.
