Solar of Mamamoo will hold two concerts in June, her first as a solo artist in six years, the singer’s agency RBW said Wednesday.

The concerts, named “Colours,” will take place at the Blue Square Mastercard Hall in Yongsan District, central Seoul, on June 1 and 2.

“Colours” is also the title of Solar’s recent EP, which dropped on April 30. With the word “ours” in the spelling, the album was named to “respect all the different colors people have in themselves,” according to Solar.

Themes of diversity and inclusivity were heavily featured in the six-track EP, with the singer saying the rainbow “defined” the album.

The set list for the upcoming concerts will include the EP’s songs, which are all in different genres: house, rock, pop ballad, R&B, folk and the blues. Solar’s performances will contain the singer’s encouraging message for others to find their own colors, according to RBW.

Solar debuted as a member of the girl group Mamamoo in 2014. She launched her solo career with her first single, “Spit it Out,” in 2020. Her last solo concert, “Blooming,” took place in Busan in 2018.
