Monsta X's I.M announces first solo world tour 'Off the Beat' across 14 cities
I.M of boy band Monsta X will hold concerts in 14 cities for his first-ever world tour as a solo artist, the rapper’s agency Sony Music Entertainment Korea said Monday.
I.M will kick off the tour, titled “Off the Beat,” with two concerts in Seoul on May 25 and 26. He will then perform in Europe, with concerts in London and Paris in July and in Cologne and Berlin in Germany in August.
The North American leg of the tour in August will consist of concerts in Boston, New York, Toronto, Chicago, Houston, Dallas, Vancouver, Berkeley and Los Angeles.
The rapper will return to Asia in September to perform in Taipei, Tokyo, Bangkok and Macao.
Specific venues and ticketing information will be announced at a later date via his social media pages.
The tour is named after I.M’s third and most recent EP, “Off the Beat,” which was released on April 3. According to his label, the set list for the upcoming concerts will showcase a variety of sides of the performer through diverse concepts.
I.M debuted as a member of Monsta X under Starship Entertainment in 2015, after competing on Mnet’s reality survival program “No. Mercy” (2014-15). The rapper, singer-songwriter and producer launched his solo career with his digital EP, “Duality,” in 2021.
He signed an exclusive contract with Sony Music Korea in November 2022 for his solo activities and continues his activities with Monsta X under Starship Entertainment.
