NewJeans' producer Min Hee-jin attends first round of police questioning
Min Hee-jin, CEO of girl group NewJeans' agency ADOR, attended the first round of police questioning on Tuesday afternoon.
Min arrived at the Yongsan Police Station at around 1:38 p.m. on Tuesday, a month and a half after K-pop company HYBE reported her for a breach of trust on April 25.
"I will tell the truth. A breach of trust just doesn't make sense," Min reportedly told press at the scene of the police station on Tuesday.
A breach of trust refers to when a person "obtains pecuniary advantage or causes a third person to do so from another in violation of one's duty, thereby causing loss to such person," according to the Korea Legislation Research Institute. In other words, it is when someone causes harm to another person or company by going against their duties.
Min had repeatedly denied the accusation at both of her press conferences and also defended herself through press releases from her attorneys. She counterattacked HYBE for dismissing her and the members of NewJeans for years.
