Girl group NewJeans [ADOR]

Girl group NewJeans is set to drop its first Japanese single, "Supernatural," and kick off its activities in Japan.

"We are so excited and glad to make our Japanese debut as we've waited for a long time. It feels like we are starting a new chapter in Japan," NewJeans members said in a press release on Friday.

"Supernatural" features the title track and B-side track "Right Now," which had its music video released on June 17, alongside the instrumental versions of the two songs.

"Once you listen to 'Supernatural,' it will be hard to get out of [your head]," NewJeans members explained, adding that it features a "strong intro and strong ad-lib of Pharrell Williams" and "unbelievably exciting synthesizer sounds and beats."

Starting with its appearance on Japanese TV show "Mezamashi TV," NewJeans will then appear on "Music Station," "with MUSIC," "CDTV Live!" and other Japanese TV programs.

NewJeans will also hold its "Bunnies Camp 2024" fan meeting at the Tokyo Dome on June 26 and 27, where the girl group will sing over 20 songs, consisting of existing songs, new songs and "special solo stages."
