Noel Gallagher to perform in Korea in November

English rock legend Noel Gallagher and his band will perform in Korea in November, concert organizer Bonboo Entertainment said Friday.

Noel Gallagher and his band, Noel Gallagher’s High Flying Birds, will perform at the Jamsil Arena in southern Seoul on Nov. 28.

It will be Noel Gallagher and his band’s first time performing in Seoul in four and a half years. Noel Gallagher first performed in Korea in 2004 with his previous band Oasis.

"See you soon, you beautiful people," the singer wrote on his Twitter account on Friday.

Noel Gallagher’s High Flying Birds, founded in 2011, is Gallagher’s own band that he started two years after Oasis announced its disbandment in 2009.

Tickets to the concert will open at noon next Friday on ticket sales website Interpark Ticket, with prices ranging from 99,000 won ($77) to 143,000 won for floor seats and 165,000 for highest-tier seating.

Noel Gallagher is known for his works with the English alternative rock band Oasis, which he founded with his brother Liam Gallagher. The band released multiple albums that were critically acclaimed and popular among the general public. Some of its hit songs include “Wonderwall,” from the album “(What’s The Story) Morning Glory” (1995) and “Live Forever” from “Definitely Maybe” (1994).
