Baekho of boy band NU'EST will release a duet with Park Ji-won of girl group fromis_9, his agency Pledis Entertainment said Thursday.

The new digital single will come as the second part of Baekho’s music project “the [bæd] time.”

The two singers posted an image of what appears to be the same studio on their respective social media accounts Wednesday evening. Other information about the release, including the title of the single or the exact release date, has not been announced yet.

Baekho’s new release comes three months after his last digital single “Elevator,” released last August. “Elevator” was the first installment of Baekho’s music project “the [bæd] time.”

The title of the project “the [bæd] time” is a play on words meaning both bad and bed, with ‘bad’ portraying the tough and powerful side of him and ‘bed’ showing his softer, more emotional side,” according to the press release.

Baekho debuted as a member of quintet boy band NU’EST in 2012, and launched his solo career in March 2022 with the EP “Absolute Zero” on October 2022 after his group disbanded in February 2022.
