For fans who couldn’t catch virtual boy band Plave perform live during last year’s encore concert, a new opportunity has arrived — this time in the form of a concert film.

The release, titled “Plave Asia Tour [DASH: Quantum Leap] Encore in Cinema,” features the band’s concert at Gocheok Sky Dome in Guro District, western Seoul, held in November last year, an event that made the band the first virtual idol to sell out the venue.

Approximately 30,000 tickets for the theatrical release were sold after tickets went on sale on May 20, according to its agency Vlast. The concert film is released exclusively in the multiplex chain CGV.

The release includes extra footage for the fans and is available in diverse formats such as 2D, 4DX, Ultra 4DX and ScreenX.

Screening began Wednesday, and fans who attend the screening during its opening week can enjoy complimentary gifts such as photocards featuring the band members.

Audience members can sing along to the show and light up their light sticks for all screenings of the concert.

Plave, Korea’s top-selling virtual group, debuted in 2023 as a five-member act. Its 2-D avatars perform in real time, using motion-capture technology to mirror the movements of the members behind them. The band went on its first Asia tour, "DASH: Quantum Leap," from August to November 2025.
