Purple Kiss to return with album showcasing 'never-seen-before hip side'
Girl group Purple Kiss will make a return in March with a new EP.
“Purple Kiss will release its sixth EP in March. The upcoming album will see a completely different music and charms from its previous release ‘Festa’ as the group continues its purple journey,” the girl group’s agency, RBW, said in a press release Wednesday.
“Festa,” released in September as the group’s first single, featured a refreshing and kitsch high-teen concept that was different from the group’s previous releases.
“The new album will show the never-seen-before hip side of the six members,” the agency added.
Purple Kiss debuted in 2021 with its first EP “Into Violet.” The group is best known for its varied album concepts, ranging from "geek and nerds" to "memes" and horror themes. The group’s 2023 EP, “Cabin Fever,” had its members turn into witches.
The group recently held its first world tour, performing in Tokyo, Japan and 17 cities around the United States.
