Footballer Cristiano Ronaldo has been named the new honorary ambassador of the appliance brand Dreame Technology, according to the appliance company on Tuesday.

"I am always looking for partners who share my drive for excellence and my commitment to hard work,” said Ronaldo in a press release.


"Dreame is a brand that innovates and delivers top-tier performance, making life easier and better. I am excited to join the Dreame family and support their mission to lead the global market."

Founded in 2017, Dreame Technology is a China-based home appliances manufacturer that specializes in smart home appliances such as robot vacuums, wet-dry vacuums and robot lawn mowers. It currently operates 6,500 offline retail stores across 120 countries.

Under the campaign motto of “Dreame to Win,” the collaboration is scheduled to cover Dreame’s product ecosystem, such as indoor and outdoor smart cleaning, personal care and smart appliances.

With the new partnership, the brand's products will feature Ronaldo's image to emphasize its goal of delivering a high-quality, efficient lifestyle.

Ronaldo currently plays for the Saudi Pro League club Al-Nassar and the Portuguese national team. He is a five-time Ballon d’Or winner.
