Shin Dong-yeob, Suzy, Park Bo-gum to host Baeksang Arts Awards

Comedian Shin Dong-yeob and actors Suzy and Park Bo-gum will host this year’s Baeksang Arts Awards, set to take place at Coex in Gangnam District, southern Seoul, at 5 p.m. on May 7.

This is Shin’s seventh consecutive year hosting the ceremony, and his 10th overall. The veteran comedian currently stars on “SNL Korea” as a cast member and has been a long time host for SBS’s “Animal Farm” and KBS2’s “Immortal Songs: Singing the Legend.”

Suzy will join as a host for her ninth consecutive year, and Park for his sixth time total. Suzy took time off from her shooting schedule for the upcoming drama series “Everything Will Come True,” according to the ceremony organizers.

The Baeksang Arts Awards celebrates the best of Korean film, television and theater. The nominees for the upcoming 60th Baeskang Arts Awards were announced last week, and the full list can be found on the awards website.

The ceremony will be broadcast live on cable channels JTBC, JTBC2 and JTBC4.
