Singer Kim Jang-hoon drops single titled 'Ice On Fire' on Thursday

Singer Kim Jang-hoon released a single titled ″Ice On Fire″ on Thursday. [FX SOLUTION]


Singer Kim Jang-hoon released a single titled “Ice On Fire” at 12 p.m. Thursday.

The single follows his last song “Low Voice,” which was released in September.

The genre of the latest single is heavy metal, which the singer is trying out for the first time in his 32-year career.

Producer Yoon Il-sang behind hit songs such as singer Kim Bum-soo’s “I Miss You” (2002), Lee Eun-mee’s “I have a lover” (2005) and Kim Yon-ja’s “Amor Fati” (2013) arranged the melody, composed and edited the song.

Kim debuted in 1991 through a song titled “Always between us” and normally sings pop rock and rock ballads. The singer is well known for his charitable deeds and has donated over 20 billion won to people in need. Since the beginning of the Covid-19 pandemic, the singer has been hosting a series of free online concerts, such as the one he hosted on Oct. 25, 2020 to commemorate Dokdo Day.
