Actors Song Joong-ki and Chun Woo-hee will star in the upcoming romance drama “My Youth” (tentative title), portraying a puppy love romance that reconnects after a decade, the show's producer HighZium Studio said Wednesday.

Song will portray Sunwoo Hae, a former child actor who became a novelist-slash-florist. Chun will play Sung Je-yeon, a team leader in an entertainment company who comes from a family that has fallen into financial ruin.

The drama is scheduled to air next year. The specific date of its broadcast has not yet been announced.

Screenwriter Park Si-hyun, who wrote the script for the JTBC drama “Run On” (2021), will write the screenplay for “My Youth.” Director Lee Sang-yeop of tvN drama “Yumi’s Cells” (2021-22) will direct the show, according to HighZium Studio.

Actor Song's casting announcement in "My Youth" follows news that he will also be starring in an upcoming film titled "Bogota: City of the Lost," directed by Kim Seong-je. The movie is a crime drama that tells the story of people who immigrated to Colombia in the 1990s. Song will play Guk-hee, who immigrated to the city at an early age.
