Taeyong of boy band NCT is set to release the single “Rock Solid" on Friday, ahead of his upcoming full-length album in May, his agency SM Entertainment said Monday.

The single marks Taeyong’s first solo project in over two years after his second EP “TAP” in 2024.


Featuring American singer Anderson .Paak, the new song will show the singer's "determination to protect what he has built so far and the confidence to continue proving himself without wavering," the agency said.

Debuted as a member of the boy band NCT in 2016, he released his first solo EP “Shalala” in June 2023 and his second EP “TAP” in February 2024.
