Tomorrow X Together to embark on dome tour in Japan
Boy band Tomorrow X Together will perform at four of the biggest stadiums in Japan as part of its “Act: Promise” world tour, including its grand debut at the Tokyo Dome.
The band first performed at the Kyocera Dome in Osaka in July last year for its first world tour “Act: Sweet Mirage.”
Tomorrow X Together will kick off the Japan leg of its third world tour with two concerts at the Tokyo Dome on July 10 and 11. The band will then perform at the Kyocera Dome in late July, the Nagoya Dome in August and the Fukuoka Dome in September.
Referred to as a Japanese “dome tour” among local fans, performing at Japan’s largest indoor stadiums, which hold more than 30,000 people, is considered an impressive milestone to reach for a K-pop act as it indicates their popularity in the country.
The band members expressed their excitement about going on the dome tour in a video uploaded to their social media pages on Tuesday.
“We will go on this Japan dome tour that we have only dreamed about thanks to [our fans] MOA,” the band said. "Let's make a lot of unforgettable memories this summer."
Tomorrow X Together will kick off its “Act: Promise” world tour with three concerts in Seoul before starting its North America leg in May. More dates will be added to the band’s tour following the performances in Korea, North America and Japan, according to BigHit Music.
