Tomorrow X Together tops Billboard 200 albums chart with latest EP
Boy band Tomorrow X Together topped the Billboard 200 albums chart with its latest and fifth EP "The Name Chapter: Temptation," the U.S. music service said Sunday.
This makes the five-member band the fifth K-pop band to top the albums chart after BTS first topped it in 2018, followed by SuperM in 2019 and Stray Kids and Blackpink in 2022.
"The Name Chapter: Temptation" sold 161,500 copies of its album in the United States since its release on Jan. 27, according to Billboard. The band achieved the feat almost four years after its debut in March 2019.
Earlier this month, the band surpassed 2 million in sales of its latest EP, becoming the youngest group in K-pop to have an album with more than 2 million units sold.
"The Name Chapter: Temptation" sold 1.8 million copies on the day of its release alone, making the band the first K-pop act to match the single-day record since BTS.
The EP and its tracks are also performing strong on charts in and outside of Korea.
