Twice member Chaeyoung is going on hiatus from the girl group's world tour due to a back injury, agency JYP Entertainment said on Thursday.

This comes just a day after member Dahyun announced she would go on hiatus due to an ankle fracture, meaning two of the group's nine members have been affected by injuries.

The agency announced Chaeyoung had to cancel her flight at the last minute due to the sudden injury.

“Chaeyoung experienced back pain this morning while getting ready for her flight and postponed her travel to go to the doctors,” JYP Entertainment said on Thursday. “She will rejoin the tour as soon as possible, but may have limited choreography.”

Dahyun’s injury was first spotted in early February at the beginning of the group’s U.S. leg of its world tour. Following the injury, Dahyun continued performing on stage, opting for a chair rather than dancing. The singer started treatments after the initial injury, but was diagnosed with a fracture after her return to Korea.

“For now, Dahyun will pause and focus on her recovery to rejoin when she feels fit enough to carry out the choreography,” according to JYP.

Dahyun initially planned to skip only the North American portion of the world tour. However, the fracture was reportedly deemed much more severe, prompting the artist to sit out the rest of the tour.

Following the announcement, Twice will move forward without Dahyun, for the rest of the world tour, starting with Friday’s performance in Orlando, Florida.

Chaeyoung will remain in Korea to receive treatment, and it is unclear when she will return to the stage. Chaeyoung is expected to resume activities as soon as possible, according to the agency.
