Weki Meki bids farewell with final digital single 'CoinciDestiny'
Girl group Weki Meki will release its last digital single, "CoinciDestiny," on June 12, according to its agency Fantagio.
The agency announced the new release on social media on Thursday at 6 p.m., with the phrase "Forever remembering us who shone brilliantly, met by chance and dreamed of fate." The title of the song is a combination of the words "coincide" and "destiny."
"CoinciDestiny" is Weki Meki’s first new song in two years and seven months after its fifth EP, "I Am Me," released in November 2021.
Fantagio told local news on Friday that "CoinciDestiny" is indeed the group's last single. However, it has not stated the group's exact expiration date or the reason for the alleged disbandment.
Since debuting in 2017, Weki Meki has released songs such as "I Don't Like Your Girlfriend" (2017), "La La La" (2018), "Oopsy" (2020), "Cool" (2020) and "Siesta" (2021).
