Wonder Girls' Yubin and tennis player Kwon Soon-woo are back on the market, the singer's agency rrr Entertainment confirmed to the Korea JoongAng Daily on Thursday.

"Yubin and Kwon Soon-woo broke up," the agency said. "They will now return to a position where they support each other [on their journey]."

Yubin was recently seen deleting her Instagram posts featuring Kwon and unfollowing Kwon's Instagram account, which had fans of the singer wonder whether the couple had broken up.

In May, the two admitted they were in a romantic relationship after a media outlet reported that Yubin was seen at the 2023 Davis Cup in February to cheer for Kwon. The couple has been sharing photos of themselves together on social media since.

Yubin debuted as a member of the now-disbanded girl group Wonder Girls in 2007, known for hit tracks "Tell Me" (2007), "So Hot" (2008), "Nobody" (2008) and more. She also released multiple solo albums since 2018.

Kwon was embroiled in controversy at home and abroad last week when he was seen smashing his tennis racket on the floor and refusing to shake hands after losing to Samrej Kasidit of Thailand in the second round of the men's singles tournament at the Asian Games on Monday.

Hong Kong's South China Morning Post criticized Kwon in an article, calling his behavior violent, with reporters and fans in Korea also turning on the country's No. 1. Some fans even said Yubin should leave Kwon over the incident.

The Korean Sports & Olympic Committee (KSOC) issued an official apology a day after the incident.
