Young Posse to make debut in October
Young Posse will make its debut on Oct. 18, the girl group's agency DSP Media said Tuesday.
Young Posse is DSP Media's upcoming five-member girl group.
The group's name derives from the Latin word "posse," meaning "possible" and "to be able," implying that the group is of young people with a purpose, the agency said.
The teaser released Tuesday showed an animated illustration of the five members riding a skateboard, showing the band's "carefree energy," alongside a snippet of a track that is left yet to be announced.
Posse is co-produced with Beats Entertainment, an entertainment agency founded by producer and rapper Kiggen.
DSP Media is known for successfully launching K-pop artists over generations, including Sechskies and Fin.K.L to Kara, Rainbow and April.
Kiggen produced and wrote lyrics for many K-pop artists, including Seventeen, Twice, Wanna One and WJSN.
