Choi Yoojung became known to the public while competing in season one of the K-pop survival show “Produce 101,” in 2016. She landed in third place overall, earning a spot as one of the 11 members of girl group I.O.I. The group was active for about a year, until early 2017, debuting with lead single “Dream Girls,” of its EP “Chrysalis” (2016). I.O.I released a series of hit songs, including “Whatta Man (Good Man)” (2016), “Very Very Very” (2016) and “Downpour” (2017). After disbanding, Choi became a member of girl group Weki Meki which debuted with the lead single “I Don’t Like Your Girlfriend,” from its EP “Weme” (2017). The group has released songs like “Crush” (2018), “Picky Picky” (2019), “Dazzle Dazzle” (2020) and “Siesta” (2021).
