14 countries, 51 concerts, 1.5 million fans: Twice concludes record-breaking 'Ready to Be' world tour
Girl group Twice has wrapped up its fifth and largest world tour, "Ready to Be," performing for some 1.5 million audience members around the world.
Twice held 51 concerts in 14 countries between April 2023 and Sunday, starting with performances on April 15 and 16 at KSPO Dome in Songpa District, southern Seoul. The group then performed in other countries, including the United States, Australia, Japan, Canada, Brazil, France, Indonesia, Singapore and more.
Twice became the first female act to perform at SoFi Stadium in Los Angeles during the U.S. leg of the tour. It also became the first girl group to perform at MetLife Stadium in New Jersey.
The tour included nine locations in North America, including New York, Chicago, Atlanta, Dallas, Houston, Toronto and Oakland. More than 250,000 fans attended Twice’s concerts in North America, according to JYP Entertainment.
Twice wrapped up “Ready to Be” over the weekend with a performance at Nissan Stadium in Kanagawa, Japan. This was the first time a non-Japanese female act had performed at the venue and marked the finale of the 15-month-long world tour.
Twice has made "new history" with this world tour, JYP Entertainment said Wednesday in a press release.
Twice will perform during the halftime show at the upcoming “2024 Coupang Play Series” match between Team K League and Premier League club Tottenham Hotspur at Seoul World Cup Stadium in Mapo District, western Seoul, on Wednesday.
