8TURN to make Japanese debut next month with 'Ru-pum pum' remake

Boy band 8TURN will make its Japanese debut on March 6 with the digital single “Ru-pum pum Japanese ver.,” according to the band’s agency MNH Entertainment on Wednesday.

The single is the Japanese language version of “Ru-pum pum,” which dropped on Jan. 9 as the lead track of of the band’s third EP, “Stunning.” It is the first song by the band in which members all sing in Japanese, according to their agency.

The music video teaser for the track was uploaded to 8TURN’s social media channels on Wednesday.

The band will also hold its first fan concert in Japan, titled “8TURN 1st Fan Concert in Japan ‘Turn Table,’" at the Spotify O-EAST in Tokyo on the day of its Japanese debut.

Other celebratory events are also lined up, including an autograph and live talk session in Japan. Further details regarding the events will be revealed through the band’s social media pages, the agency said.

8TURN debuted in January 2023 with its first EP “8Turnrise.” The eight band members are Jaeyun, Kyungmin, Myungho, Minho, Yoonsung, Haemin, Yungyu and Seungheon.
