BTS compares its upcoming new album to a diary
Boy band BTS’s upcoming album "BE” will contain a detailed account of the past several years, the boy band members hinted in its interview with Rolling Stone India released on Tuesday.
“This album is like pages in our diary of the times we are currently living in,” Jin said. "The album title ‘BE’ represents ‘being’ and captures the honest thoughts and emotions we are feeling in those moments. We’ve included a lot of chill and laid-back songs that anyone can enjoy, so we hope many people can find comfort through this album.”
The album will reflect each member’s feelings during the Covid-19 pandemic, which brought a lot of the band’s plans for the year to a halt. For the upcoming album, the members took on extra roles such as in overall production, including concept development, composition and visual designs.
"It provided us an opportunity to step back and focus on ourselves as well as our music." Jimin said.
The new album is set to drop on Nov. 20.
