Brave Girls to release own version of Brown Eyed Girls' 'How Come'
Girl group Brave Girls will release a new single that reinterprets 2008 hit song "How Come" by Brown Eyed Girls next week, according to Brave Entertainment on Tuesday.
"How Come 2" by Brave Girls is set to showcase "the trendy vocals of Brave Girls and witty lyrics in addition to the original song's trademark electronic sounds."
The original song was the lead track on Brown Eyed Girls' second EP "My Style" (2008).
"How Come 2" is set to drop on music streaming platforms on May 23.
The upcoming single is part of the Memories Project which kicked off in February. Under the project, artists reinterpret a song that they remember fondly and release it as a new single. Singer-songwriter Paul Kim, vocal group Big Mama and rapper Peakboy have participated in the project so far.
Brave Girls debuted in 2011 and rose to popularity when "Rollin'" went viral in 2021, four years after its release. The group currently has four members: Minyoung, Yujeong, Eunji and Yuna.
