K-pop boy band AB6IX to release new EP 'A to B' on May 18

AB6IX [BRAND NEW MUSIC]

Boy band AB6IX (pronounced A-B-six) will drop a new EP called “A to B” on May 18.

Its agency Brand New Music posted the countdown schedule on the band’s social media channels on Friday.

The band will upload teaser photos and videos until the EP’s release.

AB6IX will also hold a showcase event to promote the EP on the same day as the release.

AB6IX debuted in May 2019 with the EP “B:Complete.” It was a quintet until Lim Young-min left in 2020. The band currently has members Jeon Woong, Kim Dong-hyun, Park Woo-jin and Lee Dae-hwi.

All members except for Jeon participated in the second season of Mnet’s K-pop competition show “Produce 101” in 2017. Park and Lee landed within the top 11, becoming members of the project boy band Wanna One.

After the members of Wanna One went their separate ways in 2019, AB6IX was formed.
