Singer Wonho, a former member of the boy band Monsta X will release an EP titled “Obsession” on March 16, according to his agency Highline Entertainment Thursday.

The release of the EP comes five months after his second EP “Blue Letter” which was released last September.

The latest EP consists of two tracks — “Eye on You” and “Somebody” — which Wonho helped arrange the melody for, write the lyrics of and produce.

“This EP is filled with songs that will make listeners really feel Wonho’s soft and melodic vocal capabilities,” the agency said.

Wonho debuted in 2015 as a member of boy band Monsta X. After he came under investigation in late 2019 for suspected marijuana use, he left the band in 2019 in hopes of minimizing the damage inflicted on the rest of the members. The police cleared him of the drug use allegations early last year.

He launched his solo career with his first EP “Love Synonym Pt.1: Right for Me” (2020).
