BoA releases 'The Greatest' album celebrating 20th year since debut in Japan

Singer BoA released her album “The Greatest,” celebrating the 20th year since her debut in Japan, said SM Entertainment on Monday.
The album features 12 tracks, including a lead track of the same name and 10 covers of her own songs released in the past.
Prior to the release, on Sunday, BoA held her 20th anniversary concert "BoA 20th Anniversary Special Live -The Greatest-" at the Yoyogi National Gymnasium in Tokyo. She performed a total of 29 songs encompassing her two-decade career. U-Know Yunho of boy band TVXQ made a surprise appearance during her performance of “Only One” (2012).

BoA, whose real name is Kwon Bo-ah, debuted in Korea in 2000. She made her debut in Japan in 2001 with the single “ID;Peace B,” and two of her Japanese albums became million-sellers. She had a successful career as a solo singer in both Korea and Japan, releasing hits such as “Atlantis Princess” (2003), “Girls On Top” (2005) and “Hurricane Venus” (2010).
