Boy band Treasure releases teaser for 4th EP '[New Wav]'
Boy band Treasure unveiled a teaser video for its fourth EP “[New Wav]” on Thursday.
The clip released on the band’s official YouTube channel showed its members preparing for its upcoming comeback through choreography and recording practice sessions.
The upcoming fourth EP is scheduled to be released on June 1 and will reportedly be rooted in hip-hop, according to its agency, YG Entertainment.
Presale for the EP began on Thursday at 11 a.m. and runs through May 31. Fans can purchase the record online and at offline K-pop product retailers such as YG Select, Ktown4u and the Weverse Shop.
The presale will offer a photobook version and a digital pack version. Both sets will feature fan merchandise such as postcards, photo cards and stickers.
The band debuted in 2020 with its single, “The First Step: Chapter One, first emerging as a 12-member group consisting of Choi Hyun-suk, Jihoon, Yoshi, Junkyu, Yoon Jae-hyuk, Asahi, Doyoung, Haruto, Park Jeong-woo, So Jung-hwan, Mashiho and Bang Ye-dam. However, in 2022, members Mashiho and Bang left the band.
The band is set to embark on its upcoming concert, “Treasure The Stage 2026 in Seoul,” from June 19 to 21 at Korea University’s Hwajeong Gymnasium in Seongbuk District, central Seoul.
Following the Seoul concerts, the band is set to perform in Japan from July to September. The tour is set to span 18 concerts across eight cities, including Osaka, Fukuoka and Tokyo.
