Boy band ZeroBaseOne will return with its sixth EP, "Ascend-," on May 18, the band's agency WakeOne said Monday.

A poster for the upcoming EP "Ascend-," showing a big wooden speaker, was uploaded to the boy band's official social media on Monday. The sixth EP comes three months after the release of its special album "Re-flow."

The preorders for the EP will begin at 2 p.m. on Monday, with the different versions of the EP "showing distinct colors of the different concepts."

ZeroBaseOne, also known as ZB1, formed through Mnet's boy band audition program "Boys Planet" (2023), debuted as a nine-member band in July 2023.

The band launched as a two-and-a-half-year project, releasing five EPs and one full-length album before completing its activities in January this year. All nine members of the band agreed to extend activities for two months and release the special album "Re-flow," as well as hold an encore concert in Seoul in March.

The band restructured to a five-member act, with members Sung Han-bin, Kim Ji-woong, Seok Matthew, Kim Tae-rae and Park Gun-wook deciding to continue working together as ZeroBaseOne.
