“I am very honored to be able to participate in today's torch relay,” said Jin in a video message through HYBE. “I sincerely thank ARMY and fans who made it possible for me to carry the torch.”

BTS fans from around the world gathered to see Jin, who participated in his first overseas event after completing his military service last month, according to media reports.

The torch relay, which began on May 8 in Marseille, southern France, has continued for more than two months.

The torch has traveled through mainland France as well as overseas territories, arriving in Paris on Sunday.
