All songs from the seven-track EP, including its lead track, “Freak,” have charted on Melon’s daily Hot 100 chart, according to Yuqi’s agency, Cube Entertainment. “Yuq1” topped iTunes’ top albums chart in six regions, including Russia and Chile, as well as iTunes’ top K-pop music album charts in 15 regions, including the United States, England and Germany, the label added.

Yuqi launched her solo career with “Yuq1” almost six years after she debuted as a member of (G)I-DLE in 2018. The group is known for its hits “Latata” (2018), “Tomboy” (2022), “Nxde” (2022) and “Queencard” (2023).

The singer will continue her promotional activities for the EP with a performance on Mnet’s music show “M Countdown” on Thursday.
