Girl group Mamamoo's Solar to perform in Taiwan in May
Singer Solar of girl group Mamamoo will perform in Taiwan next month, her agency RBW announced on Wednesday.
The show will take place at the Taipei International Convention Center at 6 p.m. on May 10. Ticket sales began on the ticketing platform ibon at noon on Wednesday.
The performance will center on her Chinese-language single “Your Own Star,” which depicts her journey of finding herself in the vast flow of time. The single, released in March, marks the second Chinese song in her discography following “Floating Free” (2025).
According to RBW, “Your Own Star” recently topped Taiwan’s iTunes Top Songs chart.
Mamamoo consists of four members: Solar, Moonbyul, Wheein and Hwasa. The group debuted in 2014 and is known for its hits such as “Um Oh Ah Yeah” (2016), “You’re the best” (2016), “Décalcomanie” (2016) and “Yes I am” (2017).
Solar, the leader and main vocalist of the quartet, debuted as a solo artist in 2020 with the single “Spit It Out.”
