An exhibition featuring singer Taemin of boy band SHINee at the Los Angeles-based Grammy Museum has extended its run through June 22, according to the artist’s agency Galaxy Corporation on Wednesday.

TAEMIN: Performer. Artist. Icon” showcases two stage outfits and musical equipment, including in-ear monitors and a microphone. It also displays the artist’s handwritten note to fans.

Opened on April 1, the exhibition was originally scheduled to end on Monday.

“It has been a great honor to hold an exhibition at the Grammy Museum, and having it extended feels like a dream,” Taemin said. “I want to sincerely thank my fans who have shown great love for this exhibition. Your support truly means a lot to me in this meaningful journey.”

In an earlier press release in March, before the exhibit’s opening, Grammy Museum curator Kelsey Goelz noted that Taemin is a “truly influential artist whose impact extends far beyond the stage.”

“His distinctive performances, innovative style and artistic vision have helped shape the global rise of K-pop,” Goelz said. "We’re honored to showcase these iconic stage outfits and artifacts that celebrate his artistry and cultural impact.”

The museum also noted that Taemin has earned the title of “idol’s idol” through his artistic performances and works.

Taemin debuted as a member of SHINee in May 2008. The band — produced by SM Entertainment — is known for K-pop hits including “Ring Ding Dong" (2009), "Sherlock" (2012) and "Dream Girl" (2013). Taemin was the band’s first member to release music as a solo artist with the release of his first EP “Ace” in 2014.

Taemin recently performed at the U.S. Coachella Valley Music and Arts Festival, becoming the first Korean male solo artist to do so.
