K-pop stars to take stage at Britain's Wembley Arena in November
K-pop acts will take the stage at Britain's Wembley Arena for the "Korea on Stage" concert in November.
Held at the Wembley Arena in London on Nov. 8, the concert will see many K-pop artists performing in celebration of the 140 years of the establishment of diplomatic relations between Korea and Britain.
This will be the fourth "Korea on Stage" concert and the first to be held overseas. "Korea on Stage" was first held in 2020 at the Suwon Hwaseong Fortress in Suwon, Gyeonggi, as the first concert in Korea that emphasizes Korea's cultural heritage, with the following concerts held at the Gwanghalluwon Garden in Namwon, North Jeolla, and at Gyeongbok Palace in central Seoul.
Boy bands Ateez, P1Harmony, Xdinary Heroes, xikers, BoyNextDoor, girl group STACY, rock band Jannabi, rapper Lee Young-ji and gayageum (Korean 12-string zither) player Yageum Yageum will perform at this year's concert. British singer-songwriter Henry Moodie will be appearing as a special guest.
Actor Gong Seung-yeon will be the concert's host.
The concert will be broadcast through KBS 2TV at the end of November, and it will also be available on streaming service Wavve.
