Mashiro and Yeseo will leave Kep1er in July as scheduled.

Kep1er will continue its group activities as a seven-member girl group.

"Yujin, Xiaoting, Chaehyun, Dayeon, Hikaru, Huening Bahiyyih and Youngeun have agreed to renew their contracts to extend group promotions," WakeOne and Swing Entertainment said Thursday.

The agency did not disclose further details on the new contracts, including their length.

"As a result of extensive discussion and consensus, Mashiro and Yeseo will conclude their activities with Kep1er after the scheduled upcoming concert," the agency said, thanking Mashiro and Yeseo for their contributions to the group.

Kep1er debuted as a nine-member project girl group formed through Mnet's multinational girl group audition show "Girls Planet 999." Kep1er members had a two-and-a-half-year contract with WakeOne and Swing Entertainment, set to expire in July.

Star News reported on May 16 that Mashiro and Yeseo will return to their original agency, 143 Entertainment, and subsequently join the agency's girl group Limelight.

Kep1er will drop its first full-length Korean album, "Kep1going On," on June 3 and promote it as a group of nine. The nine members will also hold the "Kep1going" concert in Japan on July 13, 14 and 15.
