NCT’s Taeyong will start his mandatory military service on April 15, joining the Korean Navy.

"There will be no official events at the Navy training center on enlistment day, and the enlistment will be done privately,” singer’s agency, SM Entertainment, said Monday.

“We hope for continued support toward Taeyong, who will sincerely complete his mandatory military service and return healthy.”

Taeyong debuted in 2016 as a member of boy band NCT. He is also part of the band’s subgroup, NCT 127, and subunit NCT U, as well as a member of SM Entertainment’s project boy band, SuperM.

His second solo EP, “Tap,” dropped on Feb. 26.
