Purple Kiss to drop single 'Festa' on Sept. 5
Purple Kiss will return with its first single "Festa" on Sept. 5, the girl group's agency RBW said Thursday.
It will be the girl group's first music release since its fifth EP "Cabin Fever" dropped in February.
"The new release will show Purple Kiss's upgraded charms," RBW said in a press release Thursday.
Purple Kiss, who made its debut in 2021 with its first EP "Into Violet," has been known for its unique concepts, ranging from "geek and nerd" concepts to "horror and high-teen" and witch-like concepts.
Its member Swan released her first solo single "Twenty" on July 2, and Yuki joined cable network Mnet's idol competition show "Queendom Puzzle" in June.
Yuki came third on its final episode with 394,649 total points, making it to the final seven members to form the project girl group EL7Z UP.
EL7Z UP will kick off its official activities with its first album release before the end of the year, followed by planned overseas activities. The project group will not have a set amount of contract years, unlike other project groups of the cable network, according to Mnet. Details about the group's future activities will be announced later.
