Actors Margot Robbie and Ryan Gosling will visit Korea in July to promote their upcoming film "Barbie," the film's distributor Warner Bros. Korea said Tuesday.

"To mark the opening of our film in July […] to bring 'Barbie' closer to you, we are coming to Korea," Robbie and Gosling said in a short "Hi Korea" video released Tuesday.

"I cannot wait to meet all the Barbies and Kens in Korea."

The visit will be Robbie and Gosling's first time visiting Korea.

Robbie and Gosling will be accompanied by the film's director Greta Gerwig and actor America Ferrera, attending multiple events in Korea, including "time to communicate with fans of the film" on July 2 and 3.

Detailed schedules will be announced at a future date, according to Warner Bros. Korea.

"Barbie" is a live-action film based on Mattel's popular fashion doll franchise Barbie. It will depict the story of Barbie — played by Robbie — and Ken, played by Gosling, going on an adventure from Barbie Land to the real world.

"Barbie" will be released in theatres in Korea in July.
