Singer Park Bo-ram will drop single “Rainy Season” on Thursday, her agency Xanadu Entertainment announced Monday.

“Rainy Season” will be Park’s remake of the 2011 song “Rainy Season” by singer Jeongin.

“Park Bo-ram’s reinterpreted version of ‘Rainy Season’ will bring a deep resonance to the listeners with the sad vibe of the track with Park’s strong vocals, making a synergy with the song’s original expressive lyrics matched with a new arrangement,” her agency said in a press release on Monday.

The upcoming single will be Park’s first music release after “When I look at you” released August last year.

Park rose to popularity after appearing in Mnet’s hit audition program “Super Star K2” in 2010, landing No. 5 on the show’s final episode. Her first single, “Beautiful” (2014) featuring rapper and producer Zico, became one of the most popular songs of 2014, landing No. 19 on Melon’s end-of-year chart. Park’s follow-up album “Celepretty” released the following year, too, saw positive reception.
