STAYC to return with 3rd EP 'Teenfresh' on Aug. 16
Girl group STAYC will return on Aug. 16 with its third EP "Teenfresh," its agency High Up Entertainment announced Monday.
This will be STAYC's first music release since the release of its second Japanese single, "Teddy Bear (Japanese Version)," in April, which was preceded by the Korean single, "Teddy Bear," which dropped on Feb. 14.
High Up Entertainment released an official comeback poster Monday along with the announcement of the release of "Teenfresh."
STAYC, short for "Star to a Young Culture," reflects the group's aim to be K-pop stars influencing the younger generation. The six-member girl group — Sumin, Sieun, Isa, Seeun, Yoon and J — debuted in November 2020 with the song "So Bad." "ASAP," the lead track for STAYC's second single which dropped the following year, and "Stereotype," which dropped in 2021, both surpassed 100 million total streams on global music streaming service Spotify.
Three of the girl group's albums, "Stereotype," "Young-Luv.com" (2022) and "Staydom" (2021) also surpassed 100 million album streams each on Spotify, signifying the group's strong presence on streaming services.
