STAYC finishes world tour and prepares for new album
Girl group STAYC is preparing for a new album straight out of its world tour, the group’s agency High Up Entertainment said Monday.
The group wrapped up its first-ever world tour "Teenfresh" with a concert in Warsaw, Poland on Sunday.
STAYC kicked off the tour with concerts in Seoul and held concerts in seven cities in the United States last year. It started the Asian leg of the tour with concerts in Taipei, Hong Kong and Singapore in January and moved onto its European leg in March, starting with London.
The group performed hits including “So Bad” (2020), “Run2U” (2022), “Poppy” (2023) and “Stereotype (2021) at the concerts, according to High Up Entertainment. It also performed its unreleased track “Flexing On My Ex” exclusively while on the tour.
“We were able to nicely conclude our first world tour since our debut thanks to [our fans] SWITH,” the members said through a news release. “It was a tour we all learned and grew from.”
High Up Entertainment added that “STAYC has immediately started preparing for a new album release following its world tour” in the news release.
The new album will be the group’s first music release since its Japanese single “Lit” dropped in December last year.
