Twice’s Jihyo and Olympian Yun Sung-bin rumored to be dating
Jihyo of the girl group Twice is reportedly dating Olympic skeleton gold medalist and TV personality Yun Sung-bin, according to local media on Monday.
Jihyo and Yun have been dating for a year after being introduced to each other through an acquaintance and became closer due to their mutual love of sports, according to a report by the entertainment news outlet Sway.
JYP Entertainment, Jihyo’s agency, neither denied nor confirmed the news, stating they could “not give confirmation [to their relationship] due to the matter being [the artist’s] personal life.”
Both Jihyo and Yun have made appearances on the MBC reality show “I Live Alone” (2013-).
Jihyo debuted under JYP Entertainment as a member of Twice in 2015. The group is currently on its “Ready to Be” tour and recently wrapped up promotional activities for the group’s 13th EP, “With YOU-th,” which was released on Feb. 23.
Yun is a professional skeleton racer and a former member of Korea’s national team for the sport. He won the gold medal in men’s skeleton at the 2018 Winter Olympics in Pyeongchang, becoming the first Asian in the category to achieve this feat. He retired from the sport after the Beijing Winter Olympics and has since made appearances through his YouTube channel and on TV series, including Netflix’s “Physical: 100” (2023)."
