Tomorrow X Together to open pop-up store to celebrate 8th EP release
Boy band Tomorrow X Together will open a pop-up store at HYBE headquarters in Yongsan District, central Seoul, to celebrate its eighth EP, “7th Year: A Moment of Stillness in the Thorns,” its agency BigHit Music said Wednesday.
The store will run from Tuesday, a day after its eighth EP release, through April 26.
Themed around the upcoming album, the pop-up will feature a media wall where fans can enjoy footage of the band’s five members and the music video for its EP’s lead track “Stick With You,” according to the agency. The neon thorn tree, which appeared in its official trailer, will also be on display.
Twenty merchandise items will be sold at the store, including candles, desk mirrors, journals and clothing.
The store will also offer a "cactus and pot" set in collaboration with Gore Plant Seoul, a succulent specialty brand. The set will be available exclusively at the offline pop-up.
Gifts will also be given out depending on the purchase amount, and a lucky draw event will take place for those who purchase the album.
Pop-up visits will be operated through a reservation system on Weverse. Reservations will open at 11 a.m. on Thursday and April 16, for the first and second pop-up weeks, respectively.
The band will release its eighth EP, “7th Year: A Moment of Stillness in the Thorns,” on Monday. The album will be the group’s first since renewing its contract with agency BigHit Music last year.
Debuted in 2019 with the EP “The Dream Chapter: Star,” the quintet consists of members Soobin, Hueningkai, Beomgyu, Yeonjun and Taehyun. It is known for its songs “Crown” (2019), “9 and Three Quarters (Run Away)” (2019), “0x1=Lovesong (I Know I Love You)” (2021) and “Sugar Rush Ride” (2023).
The band is also set to hold concerts in Japan in May and June to celebrate its seventh anniversary.
