1 million-copy sales mark 'Easy' for Le Sserafim's latest EP

Girl group Le Sserafim [SOURCE MUSIC]

Girl group Le Sserafim sold 1 million copies of its latest EP "Easy" as of Tuesday, giving the quintet its third million-sales album in just two years since debuting.

The record surpassed the sales mark on Monday, nine days after its release on Feb. 19, the group's agency Source Music said Wednesday.

Le Sserafim's previous two albums "Antifragile" and "Unforgiven" also surpassed 1 million copies sold, "a powerful achievement for a two-year-old rookie," according to the agency.

The album topped Japan's weekly cumulative album ranking chart Oricon for the week of Feb. 19 to 25, selling over 107,000 copies within a week of its release in Japan.

Title track "Easy" was played 2.1 million times on Spotify on Feb. 22, the highest figure for the girl group.

Le Sserafim debuted in 2022 with the album “Fearless” under Source Music, a subsidiary of HYBE. The group includes five members: Sakura, Kim Chae-won, Huh Yun-jin, Kazuha and Hong Eun-chae. The group has since released songs such as “Fearless” (2022) and “Antifragile” (2022).

The quintet is set to perform at California's Coachella music festival on Apr. 13 and Apr. 20.
